Double Take was a recent show by myself and artist Leo Boyd. Bristol and Dublin came together in this photographic venture. We photographed aspects of our home cities, in my case, Bristol, and in Leo's, Dublin. We swapped the films and then re-shot in the opposite city, doubly exposing the film.

Neither of us knew what was on the films we were shooting over; defined by the city, this event was as much about the joy of the unexpected as it was the photographic image. It formed part of the Bristol Festival of Photography, a city-wide event with over 90 events, exhibitions, and workshops.
